My Tough Little Guy

Austin had his EEG test today. Jason took him by himself and I was very bummed that I could not go. We don't have results yet, but Austin did very well during the test. Jason didn't know what to expect because he knew Austin would have to stay still for a long time. That doesn't work well with a 19 month old. Before they started the test Austin had to be bundled in like a burrito and strapped down to the bed. When I heard this I thought for sure he was screaming the whole time. After that they attached all of the stuff to his head and wrapped his head. He just laid there and watched Elmo. His feet were free and when Elmo was dancing he was swaying his feet. What a ham. The whole test took about 45 min and he was a tough guy for the whole thing.

We should have results in a few days and I am sure everything is ok. I am feeling better about the whole thing and no matter what I love Austin the way he is.

Here are a couple of pics from the test that Jason took. I freaked when I saw them, but he was happy the whole time.

Happy Halloween

I think Austin had a pretty good Halloween this year. It started out good because Jason had the day off, he actually has the whole week off. We started the day off by getting out of the house. We went to Babies R Us and got Austin a Big Boy Potty. He doesn't get it yet of course, but he did pee pee in it some already! Anyway, after that we came home and hung out until it was time to Trick or Treat. We headed over to Jason's Dad's house (Gramps) and got Austin dressed up in his Vampire outfit. He has throwing a fit and hated the costume on him. Jason took him outside to help hand out candy for a while and he for over it really fast. He was amazed with all of the kids dressed up and even liked the really scary stuff. He was very well behaved and having a lot of fun. Jason took him to a few houses while I stayed back and rested. He walked well with Daddy, but needed help going up to the houses. They came back to Gramps house and played in the front yard again while checking out all of the kids. After that we had to stop by Jason's Mom's house to see her, Tracy and Uncle Steve. It was a nice visit, but I had to lay inside on the couch most of the time. Grandma took Austin walking around a bit then we headed home. It was a big day for Austin and he slept very well last night.

100 Days

Only 100 Days left until we see our Baby Girl. Really hard to believe!

I went to the Doc today for a checkup. It drives me crazy that I see a different Doctor every time. The cervix is still long and closed. Very good news! I am half way to my next goal of 28 weeks. I go in next week for another ultrasound.

EEG Test

I really didn't think this would ever happen, but Austin has to go to Children's Hospital for an EEG test on Monday. He started to twitch a few times a day and I got worried so Jason took him to the Doctor today. She said just as a precaution he should get the EEG test done and also see a Neurologist. I am really freaked out, but hopefully it will turn out to be nothing and go away on it's own. There is a very big possibility it is nothing according to the Doctor.

I am just worried because we have so much going on and I want Austin to be ok. All I do is sit around and think about everything with this pregnancy and worry. Now I have to worry about my Austin too. I go in for an appt tomorrow morning with my mom. I sure am counting on everything to go well there. It darn better. I will update later, please keep us in your Prayers.

1st Fever

Poor Austin hasn't been feeling well since yesterday. Last night his fever spiked up to 102.3. Of course I called the Doctor and they wanted to see him first thing in the morning. No I didn't call after hours, they were still open. I gave him some Motrin and my mom came over to help me out since he was sick. She put him in the tub for a cool bath to break the fever and it worked well. He was playing and happy so I wasn't too worried. I put him down at 9 and he slept until 2am. Then the crabby fussy guy awoke and stayed away until 5am! Of course Jason slept right through that.

Jason took him in to the Doc this morning and his fever wasn't too high maybe 100.4. He checked out fine other than dehydrated. They said to keep an eye on him and bring him back if it doesn't stop in a couple days. Of course now that the sun is going down his fever has spiked again. We couldn't get him to eat anything until Jason made him a egg and cheese omlette, and he gobbled that up. Hoping for a better night. Lots of Cuddles, kisses and liquids for my little guy.

Here is Nana and Austin after his bath yesterday.

Costume Preview

We have had Austin's Halloween costume for a while. I decided to put him in it today to see how he liked it. Well, he hates it! Jason would not let me get a cute tigger or penguin costume, he wanted his son to be something grown up. I didn't like that, but I had to listen. Anyway, Austin is a Vampire and he doesn't like the cape on him. He is fussy with it on. We will see how it goes this Halloween.

Sleepy Girl

I had my 24 week ultrasound this morning. We decided to take Austin with us today. He didn't do as well as we hoped, he was scared when he saw the lady doing things to my tummy. He became very fussy and scared so Jason had to take him to the waiting room to play with the toys. He did well out there.

My cervix is still very long, measured and 42 this time. There are still no signs of opening at all and no funneling! I am so happy that everything is going normal so far. Stinks I still have to lay around all day, but well worth it! I may go to the store in a wheel chair today with Austin and Jason.

Our little girl kept yawning during the ultrasound, it was so cute. She is on average for weight at 1 1/2 pounds. Here are some pics from her ultrasound. Thank you all for all of your thoughts, support and Prayers!

Here she is yawning

MILESTONE!!!

Had to post - made it to 24 weeks and still going strong. I love to feel her kick and move, I smile every time. I am trying to enjoy this pregnancy, because it will be the last. We still don't have a name, but are working on it. I am going to have a nice dinner with my mom and Austin to celebrate. Taking it easy today. On an awesome note, if the baby is born now she has a 40% chance of survival.

Heres to the next Milestone - 28 weeks!

Austin Update! - 19 Months

Hard to believe my little guy is 19 months old. He is doing really well. Jason was a good Dad and took Austin to his well appointment and it was great. I was really upset to miss it, but I kinda had no choice. He is 26 1/2 lbs and 33 1.2 in tall. He is on the skinny side, but he is very tall for his age. He has been that way for a while. He didn't get any shots and he behaved very well for the 1st time in a while there. Usually he tries to run up and down the halls visiting everyone and he screams when the Doc tries to look at him. Jason said he was very well behaved.

I think he is finally getting the idea I am Pregnant. We ask him where the baby is and he runs to my tummy and rubs and kisses it. I love it, he is going to be an amazing big brother. We are getting ready for potty training and big boy bed. I have no idea how that is going to go. Good thing is Gramma De is doing a good job working on the Big Boy bed with him for naps at her house. Thank You Gramma De!!

JAson just finally bought me a Wii to help keep me busy. Austin LOVES when we plan race with Mario Cart. He cheers for us and says Go Go Go all the time. It's so funny. He loves any and everything that has to do with cars and boys stuff in general. He does love to dance and has a very awesome funny personality. He dances like an old man, hehe.

Word Count:

Woo Hoo!!

I went to the Doc this morning and it was a short and sweet visit. Doc came in and checked me and things were still great with the cervix. Long and Closed. I still have to limit myself a lot in what I do. It's tough to just lay around all day, but it is soooo worth it in the end. She decided that I should come in every week now for a visit. We will alternate ultrasounds and Doc visits every week. I like that plan because I wonder too much of my cervix has changed or not. I am so happy I will be 24 Weeks on Friday. That is my 1st goal and a huge milestone. I will have to do something special that day. Well, I am limited, so maybe I will rent a good movie or something, lol.

Austin is 19 months today. Crazy how time flies! Tomorrow he is going for his well visit. Stay tuned for a Austin Update! I am going to do nothing for a while. Anything for this baby girl.

A Peek into Austin's Day

Due to my situation, Austin goes to Gramma De's house from about 8am to about 4pm or so 4 days a week. I really miss him, but I have to take really easy for this little baby. I miss him so much and wish I could have him here and play with him.

De sometimes sends pics my way of the little man having fun over there. It makes my day to see him and know he is having fun. Here are a couple pics from today. She is working on a big boy bed. We are getting ready here for that too since baby is coming and needs the crib. I have a feeling these 3 -4 months will go by fast. I hope so anyway!

23 Weeks!!

For my loss of a title I put the exciting news that I am 23 weeks along. Were has the time gone? I am not very far along, but it still feels darn good! Austin, Jason, family and Friends help the time pass. I think I have cabin fever!!

Today was a slow day. My Good Friend Nikki stopped by for a while and Austin went through her purse, lol. I'm loving the fall weather and can't wait for the snow!!!

Not much else to post, so I will put a few pics of Austin since I have been lacking photos.

22 Weeks

I am more than half way to seeing our Baby Girl and it gives me Butterflies. I am excited to see her for the first time. We are getting things here and there for her. I am loving looking at the Girl clothes. Of course I love shopping for Austin too!

We went to the Doc today for an Ultrasound and I was very nervous as always. I just recently was diagnosed with an infection, so I was nervous my cervix has changed. I measured very long still at 39mm. I was shocked! The cervix is still closed too! I really didn't know I could make it this far without something going wrong. I am very happy though, and thanks to all for your Prayers. I am still taking it very easy and not able to do much. If my cervix stays like this I may be able to do more in a couple months, who knows.

I will leave you with a pic of the little Darling.

It's a Girl

Yep, we are so happy to be Welcoming another baby girl into the Family. I can't wait until she is here. Jason is very excited too. We wanted to have a Boy and Girl so bad. Our Family will now be complete. 2 is enough for us! Now are struggling with the name game. I think we may have it down to 2 choices, but we shall see.

Wheelchair Already

When i was pregnant with Austin I didn't get out of the house at all. As I became further along, I got the OK to go out in a little. I would go to the mall and get a wheelchair and just love getting out.

Well, yesterday Jason, Austin and I went to the mall. I decided it would be best to get a wheelchair. The Doc doesn't want me on my feet that much. It was fun and Austin even got to push me, he was having a blast. When he got tired of walking he would sit on my lap and Jason would push both of us. It was very nice. I couldn't help but think back to the days when I was pregnant with Austin in the mall wheelchair.

All that Freaking out for nothing

Wow I have really been lagging on the blog. Funny because I have nothing but time. I guess I have been lacking the motivation. Anyway, I went to the Doc last week and everything was perfect. I was worrying for nothing. My cervix was very long at 4.3cm. Anything over 3 is good so I was doing really well. It was closed and holding strong. At this point when I was pregnant with Austin I was in bad shape already. So, I am feeling very positive. Of course I also got the news on the sex of the baby. I will post that later with the ultrasound pics. I know I am horrible! I don't go in again until next week, and I am not worrying about it at all. I could have a normal pregnancy, but it's way too soon to tell.

Freaking Out a Bit

Today is a high anxiety day for me. Several things just have my mind wandering and working more than it should.

First I have to thank my Mom for helping Austin and I last week while Jason was out of town on Business. It was hard and we missed him, but he will have amazing opportuinities with the Company. It was ok with him gone and my mom kept us comapny.

Tomorrow I go to the Doc to find out if we are having a boy or girl. We are very excited about that. I can't believe I will know tomorrow. I am almost scared to find out because this will be our last baby. I will be happy either way. I am also going for a cervix check and to meet with the doctor to make sure everything is going well. I am not looking forward to this at all. When I was pregnant with Austin, my cervix started to shorten at 19 weeks and that is what I am at now. I was also in preterm labor and didn't know it so I was kept in the Hospital for a few days and given an amnio to make sure no infection. Everything turned out ok, but it really takes its toll on me when I have to go through this. I just don't understand, I want so bad to have a "normal" pregnancy. Hopefully this time that will happen. I guess as long and the baby is healthy it doesn't matter what I have to go through to get there. It just scares me that I am already 19 weeks and could possible go through all of this again. I don't want to be away from Austin at all. I am having a hard time taking it easy and not being as involved with his activities. I guess I will see tomorrow what happens. If all is well we will continue to be seen every 2 weeks for ultrasound and checkup.

Lazy Day

Today we are relaxing and getting Daddy ready to go out of Town for Business. We will miss you Daddy!! Here are a couple of cute pics of Austin playing with some toys.

Autumn's Day

What Makes A Mother

I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today
I asked "What makes a Mother?"
And I know I heard him say
A Mother has a baby
This we know is true
But, God, can you be a mother
When your baby's not with you?

Yes, you can he replied
With confidence in his voice
I give many women babies
When they leave it is not their choice
Some I send for a lifetime
And others for the day
And some I send to feel your womb
But there's no need to stay.

I just don't understand this God
I want my baby here

He took a breath
and cleared his throat
And then I saw a tear
I wish I could show you
What your child is doing today
If you could see your child smile
With other children and say
"We go to earth to learn our lessons
of love and life and fear
My mommy loved me so much
I got to come straight here
I feel so lucky to have a Mom who had so much love for me
I learned my lessons very quickly
My Mommy set me free.

I miss my Mommy oh so much
But I visit her each day
When she goes to sleep
On her pillows where I lay
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek
And whisper in her ear
Mommy don't be sad today
I'm your baby and I am here"

So you see my dear sweet one
Your children are okay
Your babies are here in My home
And this is where they'll stay
They'll wait for you with Me
Until your lessons are through
And on the day you come home
they'll be at the gates for you

So now you see
What makes a Mother
It's the feeling in your heart
It's the love you had so much of
Right from the very start
Though some on earth
May not realize
Until their time is done
Remember all the love you have
And know that you are
A Special Mom

Looking Good

I have had a pretty good week so far. Yesterday was great. Jason helped out around the house a lot and hung up our family pics and some shelves. I love it here so much more now. Really feels like home. He still has to paint, but I will take it easy on him.

Yesterday was Gymboree Day for Austin too. He did so well, much better. He was participating so much more and even stayed around for the singing and the big parachute. It was so cute. We will probably keep him in there for a while because I am noticing such an improvement in him. He is finally starting to talk some more. The words are not too clear, but he is saying a lot. He says ball, uh oh, daddy, mama, home, and he has is own language too. When he gets excited he will babble and it's so cute. We have to get that on video! He loves to Dance. When he hears music he will stomp his feet and wave his arms. He looks like a old man dancing. It is adorable. He is 17 Months old now. Hard to believe he is going to be a Big Brother!!!

I went to the OB today and all was still well. Cervix was great and I was happy about that. I got to meet with the other Doc today and he was awesome. He talked to us about the Cerclage and wanted to know why we declined. Jason explained because I experience preterm labor and contractions. The cerclage would not hold my cervix shut if I am contracting and is a big risk for infection. The Doc decided to look over my file from when I had Autumn. HE had a nurse go to the records and get the report from my placenta. The report showed the reason why I had Autumn so early. I have never known this, no one ever called me with this information. The report said I had a major lever 3 infection. He said it was impossible and dangerous for me to be pregnant any longer like that. Autumn's best chance was to be born. I was shocked! He said due to that, he for sure is against a cerclage. He is going to monitor me every 2 weeks with a visit and ultrasound for cervical length. I was glad we had the chance to see him. So I will go back in 2 weeks and hopefully with know the Sex of the baby. Bummer Jason will be out of town when I go.

Here is a Pic from Austin a couple days ago. Him and Dad were outside playing.

Dreaming of Austin

This is Day 3 and I am bored stiff. I must get some books this weekend and catch up op on reading that I have wanted to do since Austin was born. I had an appt today, but cancelled because I am just not feeling well. I feel sick again, but have been trying to get off the meds that help control it. I finally gave in and took the darn thing. I forgot how tough this bedrest stuff is. Thats ok though, it's all worth it. It will be a tough couple of months, but I am up for it.

On a good note, Mark is doing better. His lungs are clear and he is expected to make a full recovery. He is very out of it and confused due to being in a coma for a week. I guess that is to be expected. My mom is sick and can't see him for a couple days. She called up there and got a chance to talk to him for the first time since he woke up. He thought she was on Vacation in Miami. He is very confused, but he will pull through. I am not sure how long he will be in the Hospital. Thanks for all of your Prayers.

Dreaming of Austin today. He is at Grandma De's house until Jason gets off work. I miss that kid even though we get a lot of time together with me being off work. I know he is having much more fun with Grandma De than he would here with me laying around. I enjoy Austin so much and I can't believe there will be another little one before we know it. He says Baby a lot now. It's so sweet. He doesn't understand I am Pregnant, but I think that will come with time. I'm off to watch bad daytime Television. Looking forward to seeing Austin in a couple hours!

Day 2

Today was a good day. Jason and I had some nice time together with Austin. Here are some cut pics from Austin playing outside with Jason. Austin also went to Gymboree today and he did well. He participated very well, but didn't care much for the music part.

Autumn's 5th Birthday

Autumn's 5th Birthday would have been this past Saturday the 16th. I was feeling too crummy to come on here and post. She has really taught me so much about life at a young age. I take nothing for granted and I appreciate all the special people in my life. I am the Mother I am today because of Autumn. I agree I worry too much sometimes, but I am very aware now. I love that little girl so much it hurts. She is forever a part of me.

Autumn,

I know you are in Heaven with God. I know you are at Peace, I can feel it everyday. I know you are ok and Happy. I know we will one day be reunited and we can enjoy one another for eternity. Guide me as you always have. I need you now more than ever. Please watch over this little baby just as you did your little Brother. Please know you will never be forgotten. You are here with me, your Father, Austin and baby Rice. And here is where you will forever live on. You were on this Earth for a short time, but your presence was so powerful and everlasting. I know you are not alone in Heaven. Please know a part of your family is there with you too. You are so small, but you are the strongest Person I know. I wish I could see how you look now at 5 years old. I see you in my Dreams and you are so Beautiful. I am so proud to be your Mother. I can't ever tell you how sorry I am this happened to you. I wish I would have known I was having problems. If it weren't for you, Austin would not be here today. I love you so much, and I can never put into words how much I miss you. I hope you had a good Birthday. I am sure you were eating Chocolate. I never ate chocolate until I was Pregnant with you. You really loved it. I miss You and love you Autumn. Always and Forever!! Always remember what I told you when I was visiting you everyday. Always remember what I told you when I was holding you in my arms. Never forget what I told you at our final GoodBye.

I will never forget,

Love Mommy

Kinda Sorta Bedrest - Day 1

I went to the Doctor this morning and I am officially taken off work. I am to take it easy, very easy. I am not yet on Bedrest, so that's good. My cervix was still closed and long. Couldn't be happier about that. My BP was normal for the first time there this pregnancy. I have been taking it at home and it's been very normal every time. I get very anxious when I am there for some reason. I heard the heartbeat and loved every second of that. He or she is a mover and has to be chased. Austin and Autumn were the same way.

Anyway, all looks good so far. They are taking precautions and taking me off work before things get bad in hopes that they will hold off longer before they do get bad. With Austin it was 20 weeks, and I am now 15 or 16 weeks along. My shots start next week. The nurse will come to my house once a week until I am 36 weeks along. I loved my nurse last time, but we are not in the same area so we will see who it is.

While we were at the office there was a girl there who reminded me so much of myself and the road ahead. Her cervix was getting very short and they were sending her to the Hospital for possibly the rest of her Pregnancy. She was crying and beside herself with anxiety of being stuck in the Hospital with complications. I understand how she feels and I just wanted to give her a hug. My heart broke for her. I sure hope I can stay home for my pregnancy, but we will see how this goes.

I have been seeing a Psychologist about my anxiety and it has been helping a lot. She is the nicest Woman, and I think talking to her will really help me pull through this constant worrying. I wish I would have done this when I was pregnant with Austin. Hopefully I will not have postpartum depression after this baby is born. I had that with Autumn and Austin bad, and that was very tough.

Things I hope to have done soon so I can try to enjoy my bedrest...

*Get the house clean
*Get ready for baby - too soon for that.
*Study and learn Photography more
*Catch up on TV - Can't wait for the new Fall season
*I hope Jason will paint, but I know he is a very busy guy
*Get Netflix
*Keep Austin happy and Busy - Gymboree starts tomorrow. That should be a great activity for now
*I can't think of anything else right now

Oh, I find out the sex of the Baby on September 16th!!!

Thats all for now. I am on Day 1 and I am bored already. I'm also frustrated I can't clean my house myself. Jason has tomorrow off, so I will keep him busy.

Prayer Request

To all of my Friends and Family, please keep my Step Dad, Mark in your Prayers. He is in the Hospital with Pneumonia. He is in a induced coma because his lungs are so bad and he can't breath on his own. He has been this way for 2 days with no improvement. Please keep Mark and my Mom in your thoughts that he can pull through this. He just lost his Mom a couple weeks ago and this is just so unexpected.

Getting There

If feels like yesterday I found out I was expecting another baby. Time is really flying by. I am already done with the 1st Trimester and I couldn't be happier about that. I have the results from the test and the baby is normal, no problems. Although I am still struggling with "morning sickness." It went away for a couple weeks and I was feeling good. Well it hit me hard starting last week. I was driving to work and had to pull over to, well ya know. I decided to turn around and go home. It happened again a couple days later on my way to work. This time I was right around the corner. I started to feel really bad and thought I could get control of it. Well I was wrong. I was on a very very bad street in Detroit. This street scares me so much I usually don't stop for red lights. Well, of course I had to throw up and I refused to stop so all over it went. It was wonderful to walk into work like that! I got there and couldn't get ahold of myself so Jason had to come get me. I cant wait to stop feeling so yuckie all the time.

While I am on the subject of work, they offered me a lot more responsibility yesterday. I should say they forced me and gave me no choice. How fun! I had to talk to my boss and let her know I am going off work soon due to the pregnancy and she understood. While I am still at work for the next couple weeks, it is going to be crazy busy. I have been waiting for this, and expected a raise, for a couple years. Go figure I get it now.

Austin has been doing good lately. He has me a little worried still because he doesn't talk too much. Sometimes he will mimic sounds, and he will communicate by pointing. He just started that. He is quite difficult to control when we go out too. Like if we go out to eat or something. He screams just to hear himself and fusses a whole lot. We are disclipining him, but he doesn't seem to care or understand. Must be the age! On a good note we are taking him to an indoor waterpark next Friday. Austin LOVES water. We are staying one night, and I think he will really like it. I want to get him doing more activities and to watch much less television. He loves cartoons! This will be our last big family thing for quite a while. I will have to lay low soon after this.

My mom's Mother-in-Law passed away on Monday after her battle with Cancer. I didn't know her very well until she moved in with my mom and her husband, Mark last November. She was a very sweet, strong, funny Woman. Her and Austin got along very well and I think he would brighten up her day. She moved into Hospice about a month ago because my Mom and Mark couldn't take care of her anymore. I went there with Austin to say GoodBye. It was tough, and she wasn't too aware. She gave me a kiss, said she loved me and also said to be strong and keep on keeping on. She was struggling so hard and in a lot of pain, but she was trying to encourage me. She knew I was scared about being pregnant. She was an amazing Woman, and she is very missed. In the short time I got to know her, she became Family to me. She was just like a Grandma. Rest In Peace June Bug.

Baby "Rice"

I went to get an ultrasound today. It was the scan for downsyndrome and other issues. We will have the results in about a week. Some people want to know and others don't. I want to know any and everything I can at all times.

It was such an amazing feeling to see my little baby up on the screen. I couldn't believe how much he or she has developed in several weeks. Last I saw, the baby was just the size of a peice of rice. This is why Jason calls the baby, "Baby Rice." The baby was moving around all over the place doing flips and waving. I was so happy and it really put all of this into perspective for me. I am very stressed out and uncomfortable, but it is so worth it and this isn't about me. It is about my growing family and Baby "Rice."

After the ultrasound we went to meet with the Doctor. We had to wait a while, but that's ok. She was very nice, and we let her know that we did not want to do the cerclage at all. She gave me the option, but we don't think it is good for our situation. She understood and respected our decision. Looks like I am still due to start the progesterone shots in a month. She also mentioned me going off work in a month. She wants to put me off before we notice changes and hope this helps my anxiety level. I still had high Blood Pressure, but it was slowly going down. Didn't go down to a good level, but she was happy it wasn't staying up very high. On a good note, my cervical length is holding strong at 40mm and still closed.

I am very excited today, it was a good day. I can now feel bonded with my little Baby "Rice."

Camping

We are home from our camping trip. We left Friday afternoon and drove up north to Sterling, MI. It was about a 3 hour car ride. We met Jason's Dad and his girlfriend up there. Jason's sister went up the next day and we also took Cassie with us too. We were not sure how Austin would do outside or in a tent for that long. He was quite a handfull. He wanted to roam everywhere he wasn't allowed to go. He was very upset at times because he coudln't get his way. We took the play yard, but he was mad when we put him in there. He went for a lot of walks and car rides to stay occupied.

The weather wasn't too bad. On Saturday it did get very hot and I had to go in the car and be in the air for a while so Jason took us all to an outlet mall. Jason didn't end up Canoeing because he didn't have anyone to canoe with and because Austin was such a handfull. He was a great help. I tuffed it through camping because Jason was enjoying it. I wasn't comfortable for most of it. I was so tired because Austin didn't want to sleep at night. He was up very late, and up early in the morning.

Again I have been so bad with picture taking so this is all I have of Dad and Austin taking a nap after staying up all night.

Much Better!

So I think I am finally over the morning sickness part of the pregnancy. I can't say for sure yet, but I feel better and better everyday. This really helps to lift my spirits and I am getting excited. I was just in a funk because of the way I was feeling physically. It put a huge downer on me and it is different this pregnancy because I have Austin. He doesn't know or understand what is going on and he needs all of my attention. I made it just fine though. I was very overwhelmed about having two children so close togehter, but we can get through it. It's a good thing and I should be happy!

I am now 10 weeks along. I have officially went from being sick to being exhausted all day everyday. I can't wait for bed time and try to take naps a lot when the schedule will allow it. I have a difficult time staying awake at work too. That is a tough one! The next few weeks should be the "normal" and fun part of pregnancy. I say that because it is the time after being sick and before complications. I start the Progesterone shots at 16 weeks and will have to be taken off work at about 18 - 20 weeks. I am sure going to enjoy the next 8-10 weeks!

We are going on a Camping trip next weekend. We were very unsure of going, and I alomst called it off. Well, now that I am feeling really good we don't see a reason not to go. If it gets too hot I will just have to sit in the car with the air on for a bit, or so swimming in the nasty river water, lol. I don't like fish, bugs, or being dirty. I remember when we went 2 years ago, there were frogs, spiders and flies in the shower stalls! How nasty is that! Remind me again why I am going. Just kidding, it should be fun. Jason really needs and deserves some time with friends and family. He has been great through all of this and taking care of Austin and I.

15 Month Check-Up

Austin went to the Doctor yesterday for his 15 month well visit. It gets more and more difficult to take him there the older he gets. He doesn't want to sit still and he hates when the Doctor messes with him. He is a handfull! For the most part he is doing great. The only thing that she was worried baout is his weight gain. He is not gaining enough and is 23lbs 8oz. She wants him to go in for a weight check in about a month to see how he is gaining. I am not too worried about it, I will just try to feed him more and see what happens. He is very tall for his age, 33 3/4inches. He is way above average for that, but it doesn't surprise me. That runs in the family. Tall skinny kids! He got shots and did really well. He only had 2. He is now done until he is 4 years old! Very happy about that. Now I just have to fatten him up!

I had to add a couple pics from the day. Here is a couple of Austin playing.

Here are my guys!

4th of July

Gosh, Austin celebrated his 2nd Independance Day already! It was a great day. I was feeling really good, not sick at all! I was just so excited about that. My sister, Jennifer and her family came down to visit. It's been a while and they got to check out the new place too. Jerry had a play date and stayed near home, we missed him. My Dad, Diane and Cassie came by too. I wish I could say I took some pics, but I really didn't. I have been so bad with the camera lately. I better get back on it! Anyway, we had a great visit. Austin was very crabby for a while, but he got over it. He is not used to a lot of other kids and 3 of his cousins were over. He better get used to sharing because a littel brother or sister is on the way!! We will have to work on that!

Poor Austin got his first big ouchie! I put him down on the ground and he couldn't catch his balance and fell face first into the cement! When I picked him up all I saw was blood on his nose! It was a mess and I felt so bad! I cleaned him up and put some cream on it and he was ok. He still looks rough though. Poor kiddo!

Thanks Jennifer, Jerry, Jared, Gavin, Trent, Dad, Diane and Cassie for coming out and spendign the day with us! It was very nice!

Updates!

It's been a while since I updated about Austin. He is now 15 months old and doing great. He hasn't been for his 15 month checkup yet, that will be next week. So, I am not sure how much he weighs but I am guessing a lot. He is a busy bee and hates to sit still. He loves to stack blocks and toys. Sometimes he gets very frustrated when he can't stack them the way he wants and looks at us for help. It's adorable, but he does have fits and need to learn to be pacient and not get so upset. He is walking all over the place and loves the new home. He has a lot more room and likes to walk laps around the island in the kitchen. He also loves to play outside in the backward. He is eating a lot now and growing a ton. He really enjoys visiting will all of the family and Grandparents. I think he is really learning who people are now and knows faces quite well. He will still shy away when he doesn't know someone, just like I did when I was a kid. He loves to read books and always bring us his favorite monkey book. We get stuck reading it to him over and over. Thats ok, I am so glad he is interested in us reading to him!

All is well with Austin, and thats about all thats going on with him for now. Looking forward to tomorrow, the 4th of July and fireworks.
