Jenn just called and she will be induced a week from today unless she has her before then. She is making good progress and she may deliver before next week. Very exciting news!!
Jenn and Chad:
We are so excited for you and the arrival of Bridget. Being blessed with a baby is the best gift God could ever give. We know you will be amazing parents and we look forward to meeting your Beautiful Daughter. We can't wait to raise our children together and Austin can't wait to meet his future wife :)
Love,
Dawn, Jason and Austin!!

Bedrest Has Changed Me
Someone from sidelines posted this and the response for me was so beautiful. There are so many women out there who are not fortune enough to be able to enjoy the "normal" pregnancy and getting a baby here healthy is such a challenge. Experiencing a High-Risk pregnancy and being on Bedrest is no easy task. Someways Bedrest has changed me...
I am much more patient
I learned I can't always be in control of my life or of what happens
I learned the true meaning of Love
I know who my true friends are
My Husband is the most caring loving man and I am so lucky to have him
Family is so important
Children are true Blessings from God
Life should not be taken for granted
I love fresh air and to be outside, long walks
I learned so much about myself and I feel I am a much stronger person
I learned to trust in God and he will guide me in the right direction
I know what being a Mother is all about, You sacrifice Everything for your Children with a smile on your face
The Bedrest Sentence was not easy, but I am grateful to have done it. Without the experiences I have gone through, I would not have gained all of the knowledge and I would not be the Mother I am today.

6 Months
My baby is 6 months old! I am so happy, he is half way to one. He is such a sweet baby.
A lot has changed in a couple of weeks. He is up on all fours now and kind of rocking back and forth. He scoots so well I think it is only a matter of time before he is crawling all over the house. We have to keep it clean at all times now, which I guess is a good thing!
Austin loves his food!! He started with sweet potatoes and now he has had peas, green beans, squash, prunes and pears. He loves them all. I actually think he likes the veggies better than the fruit. He can't get enough of it. He sure likes to make a mess when eating. It's cute! Snickers is always nearby when its eating time. She sneaks in a few licks here and there when I'm not looking.
Austin is no longer scooting in the walker, he full out runs in it and slams into things. He gets the hang of it pretty well, other than running over feet and stopping.
I think it's officially teething time! We will see when a tooth pops through.
He went to the doctor yesterday for his well baby 6 month check up. It was ok, other than we were 15 min late and had to wait a little while because of Jason..GRRR
Anyway, it was a good visit. Austin weighed 17lbs and he was 26 1/2in long. He is still right in the middle of the chart and growing perfect. The doc checked him out and he was great. No more heart murmur. He is doing everything he should be doing at this point and the doc was very pleased. She gave me some advice on feeding him solids and then we talked about the bump on his head. After much research, I am correct with my diagnosis - Cavernous Hemangioma. It might go away on its own, or it may need surgery later on in life. I don't know what will happen, but I do know one thing...I am tired of worrying about it.
He did wonderful with his 6 month shots. He cried for less that 3 minutes and he was all smiles and happy baby again. He is a tough boy, nothing like his mother :) He did not have any side affects at all from the shots this time. I gave him some childrens tylenol just incase he was in pain, but he was great!
He won't go back to the doc until 9 Months!! See if we can last a while 3 months without a visit!!

Happy Birthday Grandpa Geister!
This past Saturday we went to Grandpa Geister's house to celebrate his Birthday. It was a nice day! Austin got to see all of his cousins accept for Jared. Austin and Trent were playing on the floor together, Trent was crawling and Austin was scooting. It was good to have the Family all together. Above are pics from Grandpa's Birthday!!
Before that we went to Jenn's Baby Shower. It was a beautiful shower and Jenn is all belly and looks so adorable. I can't wait for her to have Bridget!! I think she is all set now, has a lot of beautiful things. Austin was having fun with Grandma De, Christy, Jenn, Chad and Ellie. He really knows them well and loves them! Grandma Rockett was there too, but she wasn't feeling well and couldn't hold Austin. It will be no time before Bridget is here!! I wanted to bring in my camera, but Austin just wouldn't let me. He really needed to be entertained and was having fun playing with everyting!!

5 1/2 Months
So, Austin is just over 5 1/2 months. Time flies when you're having fun!! He is doing great, really growing. He is in some 9 month clothes already because he is so long! I haven't measured him, but he goes to the doc soon and you know I will post weight and length.
Austin is changing so much. Some milestoes he has hit in the last month include:
*Sitting up and balancing well. Not perfect, but pretty good!
*Almost crawling...He gets the concept, just can't quite do it yet. He really does scoot and get around the whole living room though! Guess it's time to baby proof!!
*He loves to Scream at the top of his lungs, and he loves to do it for a long time. Who knows what the neighbors think, lol!
*We are going to "intorduce" some food to him today. When I say food I mean actual food, not just formula. I wonder what he will do?? Hopefully he likes it!
*Loves to walk with help. He takes steps if you hold his hands while he is standing. I think its adorable, but then again I am mommy and I think anything he does is adorable...for now.
*He has graduated to size 4 diapers already! The three's used to be so big and roomy, but not anymore!
*Everything goes into his mouth, no matter what it is. He likes to bitle on everything..maybe it's teething time?? We will see! I can't picture him with teeth yet. It is just too soon! I guess he has to grow up :(
*He likes when we tease him and tickle him, and make funny noises like piggy and doggy noises. It will usually get a giggle out of him. He has the cutest giggle!!
So, all in all it has been a good couple of weeks with Austin. He is doing great and his mood has been wonderful. He sleeps through the night. He might wake up a couple times for some cuddling, but thats ok. I don't mind. He is eating good and growing good so I guess I can't ask for much more!
Update you soon!!
