Tiger

This is the new addition to out family and we call him Tiger. Not as in "Woods" but as in the "Detroit Tigers." I was lucky enough to get him for Mothers Day. He is very sweet and cuddly and the kids can't get enough of him.

Wild West

We had fun and took the kids to Rawhide with Gramps and Cheryl. It was a very fun place and Austin was looking for Cowboys the whole time. We got him a Cowboy Hat and he is still wearing it this morning.

Austin got in some good bonding time with Gramps.

Austin was very excited to be a Cowboy.

Here he is today playing with his hat. He didn't want to take it off for anything. He was calling himself Woody from Toystory.

Yellow!

I told you his bike was yellow. We all got quite a kick out of it. He still had fun though. Have to love the yellow shirt too!

Mission Impossible!

Austin is so very difficult to get a Photo of. He sees the camera and hides or runs the other way screaming. If he does sit still he makes a goofy face. I love you Austin!

Bird Watching

Kayla was watching the birds fly around and listening to them chirp. She was also looking for airplanes in the sky. She loves checking everything out but I can tell she has a weakness for animals. Just like her Mommy.

Go Wings!

Jason called his Dad and joked that he had to come to Phoenix because the Wings will be here this week. That was on Sunday and him and his girlfriend were here on Wednesday in time for Game 1 of the Playoffs. Jason also told him it's bike week in Scottsdale so that helped too. He rented a bike and boy is it ever funny. I will be taking a picture of it soon so you can see :)

Jason, Gramps and Cheryl are all at the game now. How fun!

Phoenix

I love this cat. We named him Phoenix when we got him 7 years ago and now we live in Phoenix! How cool is that?!

Really though, he is so dear to us. We got him right after the loss of our Daughter, Autumn. When I looked at the paperwork after getting him I saw him and Autumn shared the same Birthday. It was meant to be and he is so special to us. Austin and Kayla love him to pieces. Kayla even knows how to say Kitty and she is all smiles when he is around. Austin treats him much better than he did in the past. We love you Phoenix!!

Calling Nana

4.12.10

This is one of his very favorite things to do. Call his Nana.

New Toy Box?

It's funny how fast toys can take over our house. We decided to get this bin for downstairs to store some toys in. The kids had other plans for it. Austin was "driving" Kayla all over the house! Good times!

Photo-a-Day

I am starting over today - I should say starting fresh. My blog has changed themes so many times, and here I go with a new one. I want to take a photo a day. This is to better document my children growing and to improve my photography. Nothing is better than practice. I have several friends who are doing this also. So here it goes.

Kayla Bug :) 4.10.2010

I Love:

*The way she always follows me around

*When someone walks into the room she will stop what she is doing to wave and say "hi"

*The way she sings in the car (drives Austin nuts)

*How she will eat anything

*The love she has for her Brother

*When Daddy comes home form work she jumps right into his arms

*How much she loves to play sports, mostly Hockey

*She is a very tough girl but very girly as well

*She loves Princesses and Minnie Mouse

*She loves to carry a purse and she does it so girly too

*Dressing her up is just so fun

*Her love of shoes

I love her!

Hockey in the Desert

The other day Jason got some play time in with the kids before he went to work. He is an avid Hockey player and fan so he has been playing Hockey with Austin and Kayla a lot. Usually they just use the little stick and plastic ball inside. Well this day Jason was playing in the front and Kayla couldn't get enough. She was having a blast. Austin liked watching but he preferred to ride his bike instead.

Kayla was so excited she started to get a little clumsy.

Even though we are in the Desert, Jason will still be playing and watching Hockey. Go Wings!

It's all About Daddy

When Jason is home the kids are all over him. When he comes home from work, they rush right over to him. He can't get one foot into the door without one of them jumping into his arms. I love to see it. This reminds me of when I was young and how excited I was too see my Dad when he came home from work. Thank God for Dads'!

Beautiful

When I look at this photo all I can think is how Beautiful she is. Ever since I lost Autumn I have dreamed about what it would be like to watch her grow. I look at Kayla and I see a little piece of Autumn in her. It's very difficult to describe, and neither Austin or Kayla has replaced her. I can feel her through them. I am so Blessed for my Children.

Austin

Yes he is still here. I noticed I have been posting a lot of Kayla but not much of Austin. Kayla is much easier to take photos of. Austin gets sick of it and hides or just gets mad. This is the best I could get from him today. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. I love this kiddo! Watch out Austin, Mommy will be chasing you with the camera tomorrow!!

On a Rainy Day

We don't get many of these here, so we stay inside and enjoy the day. We have been getting a lot of strong storms here in Arizona this week. Another big one is hitting tonight. We have to watch out for Flash Floods. That's new to me. Staying inside and cuddling for sure!

My Little Shadow

My dear sweet Kayla follows me around all day. She just wants to be with Mommy, and play. Forget about me having anytime to even do the dishes. She is right there playing in the dishwasher. I love her but nap time is the only time I can ever get anything done around here.

My Girl

I am trying so hard to make her a girly girl. She isn't into the bows at all. She refuses to wear them. I love my baby girl, and I am working on making her a bit more girly. I of course love her the way she is though. She might be more into sports than shopping. We will see baby girl, we will see.

I like color and black in white - so you get both!

My Baby is Growing Up

She is walking now - sometimes running. I am in trouble!

Treasure

Austin found things cute little ball in the back yard and he was so excited. He wouldn't stop talking about it and had to show me. It was just adorable. Another good thing about living here - playing outside all day in January. I know I won't feel the same way in July but I will cross that bridge then :) (and yes he still has a messy face and hair)

On the Move

My little sweet Kayla. She is always on the move, never stops for anything. I love it that way, but I sure am tired by the end of the day.

Perfectly Imperfect

I love this boy - messy hair, dirty face and all. He is Perfect!
