So here was Day 2 - our last day!
First we drove around a bit and noticed quite a bit of Damage from Hurricane Ike. Then we walked on the beach, but it was way too hot to do that for long. We headed into the downtown, historical district. It was very nice and we walked around for a bit.
I will never forget the first time my Children saw the Ocean. Austin was amazed and cautious at the same time. He walked near the Ocean then the water came rushing to his feet and he fell on his bottom and started to laugh. It was perfect.
After a busy and exhausting day we headed back to the hotel and called it a night. Austin loved sleeping in the big bed. It was a nice, fast trip.
